I am a mom of 4. I love to cook and try new recipes.
Every once in awhile a new recipe is tried and the family often responds with "mom..it's a keeper" meaning add this one to the family recipe book. So here I've compiled them all in one spot so they're easy to get to and add to. Hope you enjoy them as much as we have, and maybe they'll be keepers for you as well.

Mom's Vegetable Soup MMMM....

A vegetarian version that so great for a cold day!  This makes a huge pot so invite family and friends over or half it for your own family.  You can also freeze it, and it's much better on the 2nd day.

1 32 ounce vegtable broth

1 32 ounce no chicken chicken broth

1 white onion chopped

16 cups of water

8 to 10 cloves of garlic minced

6 cups of chopped patato

1 cup of chopped celary

2 cans corn, drained

1 can creamed corn

6 c. wheat shell pasta

2 cans carrots, drained, or 4 c. sliced carrots

2 cans green beans, drained

salt and pepper to taste

2 1/2 T. aromatica organics all purpose vegetable seasoning or your favorite all purpose seasoning.

grated cheese

olive oil

Heat olive oil, add chopped onions and garlic. Saute until translucent. Add broths, and water, potatoes, celery and wheat pasta. Cook until potatoes and pasta are done. Add corn, creamed corn, carrots, green beans, salt and pepper and vegetable seasoning. Cook for another 10-15 min, until boiling.

Serve hot topped with grated cheese.
